BISFIB Challenge!

This fall, Phoenix Players will be presenting the John Nassivera play 'The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes' from Nov. 23-Dec.1/18 at The Gladstone Theatre.
We at Phoenix have always dreamed of playing to a full or almost full house.

This year we have taken matters into our own hands and have created
'The BISFIB Challenge'; Bums In Seats, Food In Bellies.'

We are challenging the good people of Ottawa to purchase a total of 1,500 tickets over the run of 10 shows. In return, one of the cast members, John Kershman who is also an orthodontist when he is not acting, has generously agreed to make a $5,000 donation to the Ottawa Food Bank!

As a sweetener, for every additional 100 tickets sold, Dr. John will donate another $250, and the play's director Andre Dimitrijevic will add another $750!!!!

You can order tickets for the show by clicking on the following link:
The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes

This fundraiser is indeed timely in the aftermath of the recent tornado strike in the Ottawa region, and all the more with the holiday season just around the corner. The Ottawa Food Bank is able to turn every donated dollar into $5 worth of food, so if the challenge is successful, it would create $20-$30K of food for our city's most vulnerable.

If you know that you will not be able to see the show you can still donate using the form below.

Please share this information with your friends and colleagues so that together we can provide those in need with a hearty meal during the holiday season!
